Leads Coordinator/Sales Assistant

BestPLUS, a division of Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is hiring an experienced Leads Coordinator/ Sales Assistant to join our sales team.  BestPLUS is a manufacturer in the fast-growing industry of plastic lumber.  BestPLUS already has developed a large retail and OEM presence that continues to grow.   This position will qualify and assess the viability of incoming leads for all regions and assist the sales team expanding our customer base.

This onsite position will report directly to the VP/GM of BestPLUS and will be based in the Jeannette, PA office. The schedule is Monday- Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Respond to phone calls and emails from BestPLUS Plastic Lumber’s leads sources.
  • Qualify and act on incoming leads.
  • Answer customer and prospect calls directly.
  • Log all calls, emails, and customer visit information in our leads tracking system or share with the appropriate BDM.
  • Gather necessary information from customers to set up House accounts in Oracle and address any inquiries.
  • Handle quotes and potential orders for House and Retail accounts.
  • Assist existing customers with order status and delivery requests.
  • Obtain freight quotes by calculating dimensions and weight of plastic lumber.
  • Support Sales team and VP/GM as needed.
  • Assist other departments (Finance, HR, Shipping and Receiving, etc.).
  • Optimize marketing efforts.
  • Plan and attend conferences and trade shows.
  • Learn about the plastic lumber industry and BestPLUS markets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, data analytics, or related field (or equivalent).
  • Outstanding customer service skills with excellent written and oral communication.
  • Strong follow-up ability for tasks and requests.
  • Proficient in problem solving and process improvement, able to articulate solutions verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrates urgency, initiative, and professionalism in problem resolution, with support from the VP/GM.
  • Comfortable in a high-energy, fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and adept at managing stressful situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with Oracle and CRM systems is a plus, including assisting new sales team members with Oracle support and internal system access

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Previous forklift experience

Work Environment:

  • Manufacturing environment where hearing protection, safety glasses and steel toed boots are required.
  • Large facility with approximately 100,000 square feet of ground to cover.
  • Seasonal variation in temperature and weather conditions.
  • Frequent radio communication with operators and managers.
  • Teamwork-centered atmosphere with over 100 employees.

Actual starting base pay may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, location and budget.
