Summary:
The Director of eCommerce Sales, working with the Strategic Accounts team, will expand Adtaxi’s portfolio by helping our regional sales teams with acquiring online, hybrid, and/or other DTC retailers as clients. This position will develop and implement data-driven sales strategies customized to eCommerce clients, leveraging their deep understanding of digital marketing channels, including Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic, to drive revenue growth. Additionally, this individual will collaborate with Adtaxi’s Regional Sales and Client Services teams to create persuasive business cases emphasizing Adtaxi’s value as a strategic partner.

This is a fully remote role but you must be located in CO, TX, FL, OH, MA, PA, or MN
What you will do:

Develop customized proposals and pitch presentations that align with client business objectives and position Adtaxi’s multi-channel capabilities as a competitive advantage

Collaborate with internal teams (Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic) to create integrated media strategies that deliver measurable ROI for prospective clients

Uncover client challenges, define success metrics, and present tailored marketing solutions that address strategic and tactical objectives

Analyze campaign performance metrics, interpret data trends, and use insights to refine strategies

Conduct in-depth market and competitor analyses to understand industry trends and client pain points, influencing campaign strategies and product offerings

Transition closed deals seamlessly to client services and account management teams, ensuring continuity of client experience and optimal onboarding

Serve as a subject matter expert internally and externally, providing insights on the evolving eCommerce landscape, consumer behavior, and emerging digital marketing channels

Represent Adtaxi at industry events, webinars, and conferences, articulating the agency’s value proposition to potential clients and thought leaders in the market

Partner with cross-functional teams — Client Services, Creative, Data Analytics, and Product Development — to ensure cohesive and compelling pitches that address client needs

Mentor other team members as needed, offering guidance on best practices in eCommerce sales strategies and account management

Provide feedback to internal stakeholders on product enhancements and service expansions that could better serve eCommerce clients
What you will bring:

5+ years in digital marketing (sales or operations), preferably with a focus on eCommerce clients

In-depth understanding of Paid Search (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising), Paid Social (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn), and Programmatic (The Trade Desk) and how these channels integrate to drive comprehensive eCommerce results

Familiarity with leading eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce) and how digital marketing initiatives influence online consumer journeys, conversion funnels, LTV, and advanced marketing technologies, analytics platforms, and attribution modeling

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, delivering clear and persuasive value propositions to C-suite and VP-level stakeholders

Strong understanding of performance KPIs (ROAS, CPA, CTR, CPC), and the ability to map marketing outcomes to business growth and profitability

Ability to inspire trust, drive accountability, and foster a culture of high performance within a sales environment

Skilled at working with internal subject-matter experts to craft robust, integrated proposals that differentiate Adtaxi in a competitive market

Proficient at handling multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred
The annual salary range is $80,000 - $95,000 plus incentive compensation (commission), cell phone and mileage reimbursement.
