The Job:  

We are looking for a skilled Senior Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud Developer to join our team as a hybrid or remote employee. As part of our global B2B eCommerce team, a cross-functional group overseeing the entire software development life cycle from conception to deployment, you will collaborate with design architects, product teams, and vendors to deliver innovative solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and developing Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud solutions, providing expertise to vendor developers, reviewing their work, and leading monthly enhancements and project developments. You’ll also guide and support vendors throughout the process.

As you grow in this role, you will gain exposure to eCommerce and business functions across other B2B platforms, such as SAP eCommerce, VTEX, and .NET applications. You will learn existing features and business processes and contribute to evolving the Global B2B applications on Salesforce B2B Commerce.

We are seeking candidates with at least 8 years of Salesforce development experience, including a minimum of 3 years working with Lightning Web Components (LWC), LWR, and Aura.

You'll get to:

  • Analyze, design, and develop tailored eCommerce solutions using Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud to meet business objectives.
  • Develop customized solutions that align with business requirements, supporting strategic decisions and growth.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Salesforce B2B eCommerce applications, providing expert guidance, technical insights to internal teams and vendors.
  • Implement performance optimization strategies to enhance website speed, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
  • Hands on the design and implementation of new Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud applications, collaborating with internal teams and vendors for monthly enhancements and project delivery.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses and offer recommendations for technology improvements, development best practices, system standardization, and upgrade strategies.
  • Maintain high standards in the code, ensuring it is clean, efficient, and scalable.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices
  • Excel in problem-solving, translating complex business requirements into effective, technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to transform business needs into well-architected, sustainable, and scalable eCommerce solutions that optimize the customer experience on the Salesforce Commerce platform.
  • Act as the bridge between business teams and technical resources, ensuring mutual understanding of project requirements, dependencies, and objectives.
  • Partner with global business teams, leading business and technical discussions with NA and EMEA stakeholders to ensure seamless and effective eCommerce solution deployment.
  • Contribute to backlog grooming sessions, providing accurate story estimations and ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
  • Provide technical leadership by establishing best practices across integration, application development, deployment, unit/system testing, and continuous iterative improvement.
  • Manage and support non-SFDC B2B eCommerce platforms when needed, broadening technical expertise and contributing to a diverse range of projects.

  • Expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC) for building modern and efficient UI components.
  • Proven experience working with Lightning Web Runtime (LWR) and Aura frameworks.
  • Extensive experience with integrations between Salesforce and ERP systems such as SAP, PIM, Snowflake, Akamai, Logic apps(Agora), DAM.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Order Management System (OMS).
  • Expertise in using Salesforce Process Builder, Flow Builder, and Apex triggers for business process automation
  • In-depth experience in B2B data modeling, creating custom objects, and managing relationships within Salesforce
  • Strong experience with Salesforce integration techniques, including REST, Connect APIs and SOAP APIs, Inbound/Outbound messaging, and middleware platforms (e.g., Logic Apps(Agora), MuleSoft, Informatica)
  • Proficient in using Salesforce Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, and handling external data integrations effectively.
  • Skilled in creating and executing unit tests for Salesforce code, including Apex test classes to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git, bitbucket and the development lifecycle.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce security models, including Profiles, Roles, Permission Sets, Field-Level Security, and Sharing Rules
  • Proficient in core Ecommerce functionalities and platform-specific customization.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Lightning Web Components/B2B Lightning.
  • Resolve technical problems related to Salesforce B2B Commerce cloud and commerce 
  • Proficiency in working with Salesforce Flows, Apex, SOQL and other declarative technologies.
  • Integrate Salesforce with third-party applications and services, ensuring seamless data flow across systems.
  • Experience with 3rd party integrations such as payment gateways, PIM, DAM, CDN, Tax engines, fulfillment, logistics, order management, billing and salesforce CRM

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Salesforce development.
  • Minimum of 3 years working with Lightning Web Components (LWC), LWR, and Aura
  • Previous eCommerce implementation is a plus
