Responsible for leading strategic and operational implementation of provider management programs that support insurers to move towards value driven funding of health services
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Generate practical and relevant ideas on new provider initiatives, or enhance existing ones, to improve claims experience and outcomes
- Take data insights from Amplify Health provider management analytics tools and translate for local market team for practical application in their hospital and doctor management strategies
- Provide advice, training and in-person support for provider negotiations
- Coordinate with product, commercial and analytics teams within our organisation to deliver market-specific solutions for Hong Kong clients
- Ideally be based in HK to best serve the local clients
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor or master’s degree
- Clinical background is highly valued but not required
- At least 10 years of healthcare domain experience in fields such as health insurance, healthcare consulting, or hospital management roles ideally in Hong Kong or Asia markets. We remain open to global experience if very relevant
- Solid understanding of the private healthcare ecosystem in Hong Kong, within the context of Asia and its forward-looking trends
- An analytical and data-led mind is key with pragmatic solutioning within available resources
- Ability to grasp and apply new concepts in deep areas of health insurance and claims risk management
- Ability to craft concise and informative documents to aid debate, decision making and negotiations
- Demonstrated ability to guide and influence diverse groups of professionals that have expertise in different domains and are solving for different KPI's. Prior hospital contract negotiation experience is a bonus
