Sabre is seeking a Lead Product Manager - Traveler Touchpoints to drive the vision, planning, and execution of key products across their lifecycle, focusing on strategic initiatives in the Offer & Order space, GenAI, and the modernization of existing products. This role is crucial to supporting our team’s mission of delivering innovative and market-leading solutions for airline customers, enhancing traveler experiences, and improving overall business outcomes. The position also plays a key role in our new cross-functional team, working collaboratively across multiple products to support Product Owners, boost efficiency, and drive solution-oriented work.
You will possess a deep understanding of our product portfolio, with a focus on integrating cutting-edge technologies and aligning with the broader company strategy. By capturing customer needs, market trends, and usage data, you will translate insights into prioritized user stories, driving the evolution of our Traveler Touchpoints products and supporting cross-functional team initiatives.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive product vision and strategy for Traveler Touchpoint products (Digital Connect, Digital Experience, Radixx EzyCommerce, Sabre Custom Messaging etc), with a special focus on SabreMosaic, GenAI initiatives, and platform modernization.
- Oversee investment decisions, scope, roadmaps, and priorities, ensuring alignment with the company's technology and business strategies.
- Manage the product profit & loss (P&L) and demonstrate a clear understanding of the market landscape and competitive environment.
- Work closely with the cross-functional team to support Product Owners, provide technical guidance, and contribute to solution-oriented projects.
- Engage in customer touchpoints, focus groups, and conferences to gather insights, influence product direction, and validate product enhancements.
- Act as the subject-matter expert within scrum teams, collaborating with Engineering to drive technical solutions and ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Create, refine, and prioritize backlogs for scrum teams, including writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and accepting completed work.
- Analyze and resolve maintenance issues, supporting commercial and delivery teams in troubleshooting and technical escalations.
- Facilitate internal and external demos, showcasing product capabilities and upcoming enhancements.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Extensive experience working with Airline technology, (Offer & Order experience is a plus)
- Proven track record in market-facing roles, with experience engaging with customers and partners to gather requirements and influence product direction.
- Strong technical and business-oriented mindset, capable of bridging the gap between market needs and technical execution.
- Ability to thrive in a cross-functional, collaborative environment, leading initiatives across multiple products and supporting diverse stakeholder requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a history of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in presenting technical concepts and product solutions to varied audiences, from technical teams to senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with emerging trends in travel retailing, AI/ML, dynamic offers, and e-commerce.
- Experience with software development processes and agile methodologies.
