Boeing Defense and Space team is seeking a Lead Product Management Specialist to deploy innovative data science & analytics solutions by implementing cutting-edge agile software development methodologies and user-centric design. This position will place you at heart of a fast-paced, growing organization responsible for creating and delivering important suite of products for Boeing Defense and Space.

 

This role will be based out of Bangalore, India.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Experience on leading Paired Programming based development.
  • - TDD (Test Driven Development) experience.
  • - Knowledge of automated testing & deployment frameworks & methodologies.
  • - Experience in software development & project/program/product management. - Prior experience in managing product development in an AGILE & global environment.
  • - Strong project/program management skills & experience which includes (but not limited to) project scope, schedule, budget, risk/mitigation, resource, communication, priorities.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Related work experience, Relevant military experience, or advanced degree preferred but not required.
  • Should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience leading & managing large enterprise application development in an AGILE environment and managing development teams.
  • Should have experience in building/leveraging DevOps.
  • Should have experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously with equal focus and priority.
  • Should have the ability to translate technical data/metrics into information for decision making & corrective action, provides project status and ensures proper documentation of project deliverables.
  • Should be able to perform work with minimal direction and exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.
  • Significant prior experience in hands-on software development preferable on Java technologies (web/cloud)
  • Strong Communication & presentation skills to work in a globally distributed team.

 

Desired Skills (Preferred qualifications):

  • Related work experience, Relevant military experience or advanced degree preferred but not required.

 

Typical Education & Experience:

  • Typically 17 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience, advanced degree (Eg Bachelor or Master etc) preferred but not required.
