About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and self-driven Go To Market leader in APAC. The Payments Sales Specialist role is based in our Singapore office, and is ideal for someone results oriented, with extensive payments experience who thrives in a dynamic sales cycle environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping Forter’s presence and drive revenue growth in the APAC region by delivering on key objectives across sales, marketing, and product collaboration.
Core Responsibilities:
Sales and Pipeline: Become a trusted payments voice for our prospects
- Build and manage relationships with a large list of named enterprise accounts, using a consultative approach to identify challenges that Forter's suite of payment solutions can resolve.
- Collaborate with sales teams and Pre-sales Solutions Consultants to create and tailor custom proposals, presentations and ROI models for prospects.
- Own the sales cycle by identifying and engaging key decision-makers (economic champions/buyers) within major accounts, including Financial Institutions and Payment Service Providers, and delivering Forter's value proposition effectively.
- Achieve and exceed ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by driving pipeline growth and securing new business.
Marketing and Thought Leadership: Brand Amplification
- Represent Forter as a thought leader by engaging with the payments community through industry events, conferences, and strategic content creation.
- Deliver insightful market commentary on the payments landscape in APAC, establishing Forter as the go-to authority on payment trends and innovations.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Driving Internal Expertise and Product Alignment
- Partner closely with internal teams to provide regional insights that influence product roadmap decisions and sales strategy.
- Act as the expert voice on APAC payment priorities, contributing to the development of sales collateral and shaping Forter's long-term expansion plans.
- Share field analysis and feedback to enhance Forter’s offerings and better meet market needs.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven track record of 5–7 years in the payments space, particularly in e-commerce and enterprise solutions.
- Demonstrated success in building and/or selling innovative payment solutions
- Expertise in payment processes/solutions such as card vaulting, authorization, 3DS authentication, and processor routing.
- A well-established network within top eCommerce and Payment Service Provider companies.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships, develop partnerships, and foster commercial opportunities.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup or dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a polished professional presence.
- Ability to travel as required to meet with customers, attend industry events, and engage with stakeholders.
