We are looking for a Full Stack Lead Software Engineer to join our team. This is an amazing opportunity to work on our Vega Product Suite, a next generation cloud native public library experience. We are looking for someone who can help us build our team and design our product. This position reports to a Technical Manager—you will collaborate on design with stake holders and colleagues while leading innovations across our ecosystem.

5+ years of development experience

4+ years of React or Angular experience

4+ years of Java development experience

3+ years with Spring, Spring Boot

5+ years of experience with AWS technologies

5+ years Object Oriented design and development methodologies

3+ years of experience with Docker

Machine Learning experience

Proficient understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.

Experience with relational databases and database design using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.

Product you will be developing
The Vega product is a very forward-thinking engagement and customer relations suite of tools for public libraries, to help library administrators reach out to and involve both their patrons and their communities in with more directed and personalized interactions. Vega is an AWS based SaaS multi-tenant platform, with multiple cross functional components which combine to deliver a unified, connected data experience across a library’s internal and marketing data, to a customer interaction management suite that is available for use by public libraries worldwide!
About the team
The team has been together for about 2 years of highly skilled 4 engineers, based in USA and Europe. The project assignment will be working on the Vega LX Starter and Promote experience for our Engineering and Project Stakeholders. The team will report to a US-based Manager for guidance and tasking.

Hours of Work
This is a permanent full-time position, with core engagement hours within CET time zone.
This is a hybrid position; you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
