While we have employees across the country, we are looking to fill this particular role with someone based near our headquarters in Seattle who can commit to a hybrid schedule for more face-to-face interactions with team members.
The Job
We are looking for an experienced Engineer to drive development of our primary internal portal which is used by our Operations team. You will be instrumental in providing strategic direction and technical oversight, as well as collaborating with other groups to ensure our technology meets our customers and security needs. Your mission is to deliver high-impact, scalable software solutions that drive business value and enhance customer experience. Balancing immediate priorities with a long-term vision, you’ll ensure our front end technology is cutting edge and effective.
What You’ll Do
- Technical Oversight: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of our Operations portal software, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: You’ll need to be able to work with a number of different people in this role, including: UI/UX, Software Product Management, other Portal owners, etc.
- Innovation and Optimization: Promote best practices and continuous improvement to enhance performance, efficiency, and scalability. In addition, you will be involved in decisions shaping the future of the portal.
- Communication: Coordinate with other teams to ensure they are using best practices when developing on our front end stack. You’ll also be responsible for working with the other portal teams to ensure consistency across our codebase.
- Work with the Business: Understand the problems we are trying to solve and help design and implement solutions to meet the challenges ahead of us.
- Leadership: You will be in charge of choosing technologies, patterns, and best practices for our front end portals.
- Mentorship: You will work with and mentor less experienced engineers and help them build their careers in front end technologies.

Experience You’ll Need
- Extensive experience with Full Stack Development and developing front ends at an infrastructural level
- Strong communication skills

- BS in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field
- Experience in a high-growth environment
- Experience in Kotlin and TypeScript
