Are you ready to help us design and build our LaserWeeder that solve real problems in our food supply?

As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer at Carbon Robotics, you will work alongside your software, mechanical and electrical peers to build AI and robotics products. In particular, you will be involved in the design and implementations of websites and applications that are used with our products.  You’ll do whatever it takes - which might include going to the farm - to ensure our customers have reliable and safe products.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with Engineering teams and Product Managers to build our labeling, monitoring and data analysis web interfaces, both customer and internally facing.
  • Quickly build and troubleshoot web applications that are Simple, yet elegant 
  • What you’ll build delivers critical information to farmers about the efficacy of their weeding, the health of their crops around the globe, the status of their fleet, as well as improve our machine learning labeling platform.
  • Drive decision through project planning, task delegation and leading problem solving efforts to iterate quickly

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Success:

    • Work as a Software Engineer building user centric web applications for 5+ years(2+ mid level exp), including some experience using Typescript and React.
    • Working knowledge of interacting with a backend service and deploying web applications
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills and a desire to work in multidisciplinary teams
    • BS+ in Computer Science or related field

Carbon Robotics follows equitable hiring practices. Flexibility in our hiring process allows hiring of talent at levels different from what are posted.  The compensation range outlined is based on a target budgeted base salary. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as relevant experience and skill, Interview assessments and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements. Offers are determined using our equitable hiring practices. Carbon Robotics offers additional compensation in the form of benefits premiums, pre-IPO stock options and On Target Earning commissions for appropriate positions. Base pay ranges are reviewed each year. We are committed to the principle of pay equity – paying employees equitably for similar work.

Carbon Robotics' base salary pay range:

$165,000$195,000 USD
