Seeking Oracle Analytics technologist to join the Guardian Financial Systems team within Corporate Technology. The Analyst will support and develop data integrations and analytic reporting solutions. They will provide best practices for authoring analytics, and full-life cycle implementations of Analytics, Data Integration, AI/ML, and Data Science solutions in Oracle cloud. We are looking for a strong technologist with business and functional knowledge along with significant hands-on experience with Oracle cloud (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
Duties/Responsibilities
- Understand customer’s requirements and produce analytics and data integration solutions that meet their needs.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) / Fusion Data Intelligence Platform (FDIP aka Fusion Analytics Warehouse), Oracle Data Integration, AI/ML, and related service offerings.
- Building and completing repeatable cloud solutions.
- Design and build project deliverables as a techno-functional expert.
- Develop solutions that follow product development guidelines and are in-line with established design standards and approved architectures using Oracle technology/internal Guardian.
- Train and guide internal customers to reinforce best practices and ensure adoption.
- Resolve or raise client issues as appropriate to internal support, engineering teams, , 3rd party partners and Oracle Support.
- Collaborate by sharing knowledge and standard methodologies within the practice.
- Develop peer network through which provide and receive product and skills assistance.
Essential Experience/Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or MIS with 5+ years overall experience
- 2+ years implementing and supporting Oracle (Fusion) Finance applications. Must be expert with 2 or more modules within the ERP, EPM suites.
- 3+ years in Analytics, i.e. OAC, FAW (FDIP), and 3+ years with ETL and integrations technologies, specifically OIC or ODI.
- Hands-on experience with mix of Oracle Analytics Cloud/Oracle Analytics Server, Fusion Data Intelligence, Data Warehouse, SQL, Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Data Integrator, Oracle Data Science, and Oracle AI/ML.
- Significant experience in designing and building Data Warehouse/Data Marts, ideally with integration to/from Oracle applications.
- Solid grasp of Oracle database, data modelling, data science, AI/ML, and analytics implementation.
- Ability to craft and articulate strategic solutions around data.

- Solid understanding of data science concepts.
- Understand customer’s requirements and produce data integration and analytics solutions that meet their needs.
- Building and completing repeatable cloud solutions.
- Delivering hands-on cloud computing services.
- Assist with creating new industry-focused solution innovations.
- Building cloud native applications using modern development technologies.
- Develop solutions that follow product development guidelines and are in-line with established design standards and approved architectures using Oracle technology.
- Transfer product knowledge to customers to reinforce training and ensure adoption.
- Resolve or raise client issues as appropriate to support and engineering teams.
