The Lead Client Media Strategist will co-sell partnerships, support new market product initiatives, and engage in deep technical discussions with advertisers surrounding KPM products. This role is crucial for ensuring the continuity of our brand and market position while striving to meet long-term product targets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in activation and planning across various media platforms, including in-store (which will be the focus for Year 1), social, programmatic, and search media solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Co-Sell :
- Proactively manage inbound requests for strategy and/or media placement within specified channel/product. Example: Develop and own tactical strategic media plans for in-store digital activations, aligning with broader organizational goals.
- Act as the key point of contact for co-sell partnerships, providing support and guidance to ensure brand continuity.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align goals and strategies that enhance market positioning.
Sales Support:
- Serve as the expert for new to market KPM products, assisting the sales organization in effectively communicating product offerings to clients.
- Ability to assist sales teams in developing strategies to sell technical solutions. This includes understanding customer needs and crafting tailored proposals.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment of messaging and solutions.
- Conduct in-depth technical discussions with advertisers regarding KPM products, delivering detailed insights and media strategy / placement recommendations.
- Develop and present enhanced technical content that deepens understanding and adoption of KPM offerings with clients.
Market Trend Analysis:
- Stay informed about current trends within in-store media solutions and other relevant media channels.
- Provide feedback and suggestions that can lead to the improvement of product offerings based on market demand and competitive landscape.
Training and Enablement:
- Design and deliver training sessions for the sales team, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and tools for effective client engagement.
- Create and curate documentation, FAQs, and sales enablement materials related to KPM products
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a planning, activation, or sales enablement role within the advertising or media industry.
- Strong background in in-store media, social media, programmatic advertising, and search media.
- Proven ability to manage partnerships and work collaboratively across multiple teams.
- Excellent analytical skills; experience translating complex data into actionable strategies.
SKILLS:
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with a focus on finding innovative solutions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Robust understanding of digital advertising trends and technologies.
Proficiency in CRM software and analytics tools

- The stated salary range represents the entire span applicable across all geographic markets from lowest to highest. Actual salary offers will be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data and cost of labor. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for variable compensation.

Pay Range
$117,000—$177,500 USD
