As part of the wider People Team, the Learning & Development Design Specialist plays a key part in creating engaging and effective learning solutions, the role also involves managing and maintaining learning delivery, content, and knowledge through the learning management system.
You will be collaborating closely with your leader, other Learning Delivery Specialists, and business SMEs to make sure learning solutions are well-planned, delivered, and evaluated to meet specific business requirements.
This will be a permanent, full-time position based in the Melbourne office, with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver to the EML learning strategy and learning priorities for each business unit.
Utilise design principles and frameworks to ensure effective and high-quality learning solutions. - Provide effective customer-centric service across all aspects of L&D.
- Design and deliver individual and group learning initiatives as required.
- Undertake relevant administration tasks, including learning content, knowledge management, learning management and other systems, to ensure compliance and adherence to policy, procedure and processes.
ABOUT YOU
- 2 years’ experience within a similar design role.
- Proficient in instructional design tools (e.g.: Articulate Storyline, Adobe tools, LMS (Workday preferred).
- Understanding of instructional design models like ADDIE.
- Experienced in audio and video scripts and digital video editing.
- Demonstrate creative experience in design, build and review of eLearning programs.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, e-learning and best practice methodologies.
- Experience in Workers Compensation or regulatory compliance environment would be highly advantageous.
