Halo Media is seeking a highly skilled Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our dynamic team, building robust and scalable software infrastructure to support data handling, security, and server-side functionality.Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Implement and optimize databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Conduct automated testing (RSpec, Capybara).
- Collaborate with design, product, and QA teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Troubleshoot and enhance application performance.
- Proven experience with Ruby on Rails (3+ years).
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (React or Vue.js is a plus).
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with continuous deployment tools (Heroku, AWS, Docker is a plus).
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of DevOps and production deployment.
- Experience with integrating RESTful APIs.
