What will you be bringing to the team?
- Design and deploy highly available, secure, and scalable Kubernetes clusters both on-premises and in the cloud.
- Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications and deploy them on Kubernetes, optimizing resource utilization and performance.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi to automate Kubernetes deployments and configurations.
- Establish robust monitoring and logging solutions with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack to ensure cluster and application health.
- Continuously analyze and optimize Kubernetes cluster performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and resource constraints.
- Implement security best practices to protect Kubernetes clusters from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Diagnose and resolve complex Kubernetes and container-related issues, ensuring timely solutions to incidents and outages.
- Foster collaboration between development, operations, and security teams, providing guidance on Kubernetes best practices.
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- A Bachelor's Degree in IT or related filed with at least 5 years of experience in Kubernetes Orchestrator service management, including designing, deploying, and managing production clusters.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes and containerization technologies like Docker and Podman.
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools using Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
- Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their Kubernetes services (EKS, AKS, GKE).
- Familiarity with major providers Rancher, Openshift, Docker and virtualization providers (VMware, Microsoft).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (ArgoCD, GitOps) and Helm for Kubernetes deployments.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Experience with service meshes (like Istio, Linkerd) and with storage solutions like MinIO, NooBaa, and S3-compatible systems.
- Proficient in scripting languages like Bash or Python for automation tasks.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
