Mission of the Role
The primary mission of this role is to drive the strategic objectives of our organization forward by leveraging innovative approaches and fostering collaboration among team members. Drive revenue growth by expanding our DC EV charging solutions to fleet owners and Charge Point Operators (CPOs) across the UK. This senior role requires a balance of strategic account management, technical expertise, and business development skills to engage with high-level decision-makers and technical teams within client organisations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, managing, and growing key accounts while driving Wallbox's leadership in the UK's evolving EV infrastructure landscape. You will interact with Directors, CTOs and technical experts to deliver tailored solutions that meet their operational and strategic needs.
Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of our team, you will be entrusted with a variety of key responsibilities that are essential to the success of our organization. Your primary duties will include:
- Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication across projects.
- Project Management: Taking the lead on specific projects, overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
- Problem Solving: Identifying potential issues proactively and developing effective solutions to mitigate risks and enhance overall project outcomes.
- Reporting: Regularly providing updates to stakeholders, presenting data-driven insights and recommendations to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Research and Development: Engaging in research to stay current with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve processes and enhance product offerings.

- Key Account Management & Growth - Manage and grow relationships with CPOS, Utilities, Oil & Gas Companies, and Fleet operators, developing tailored solutions to meet their DC EV charging needs. Identify opportunities to expand within existing accounts while maintaining strong client relationships
- Revenue Generation - Develop and implement strategies to create new revenue streams from key accounts, focusing on DC charging solutions. Meet and exceed sales targets by driving account-based strategies
- Stakeholder Engagement - Build relationships with key decision-makers at all levels, including Fleet Directors, technical teams, and C-level executives, ensuring a deep understanding of client needs and business goals
- Technical Sales & Consultation - Present Wallbox's DC EV charging products and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, addressing operational challenges and aligning solutions with clients' strategic objectives
- Collaborate with Internal Teams - Work closely with the product, engineering, and customer support teams to ensure Wallbox's solutions meet client expectations and to resolve any technical challenges that arise
- Sales Pipeline Management - Manage the sales pipeline, tracking progress and opportunities across multiple key accounts. Use CRM tools to drive account performance and maintain strong engagement with prospects and clients
- Proposals & Negotiation - Lead the development of detailed proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals that align with the company's revenue and growth objectives
- Industry Engagement & Networking - Represent Wallbox at relevant industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to promote the brand, develop new business leads, and strengthen client relationships
Business Skills
- Senior Account Management Expertise - Demonstrated experience in managing large, complex accounts, particularly within the energy, automotive, or EV charging sectors. Proven track record of exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- Commercial Acumen - Strong ability to build business cases, negotiate contracts, and understand the commercial implications of technical solutions. Expertise in identifying opportunities for growth within key accounts.
- Stakeholder Engagement - Proven experience in engaging with senior-level stakeholders, including technical leads, Directors, and C-level executives. Ability to communicate complex technical solutions in a way that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Sales Strategy & Execution - Expertise in sales pipeline management, opportunity identification, and closing high-value deals. Proficiency in CRM tools and data-driven sales techniques.
Technical Skills
- Strong Knowledge of Energy Solutions - In-depth understanding of Energy solution technology, including power requirements, installation processes, and energy management systems and renewable energy. Ability to address technical challenges and consult with clients to align solutions with their operational needs. Electrical engineering background is a plus!
- Solution Selling - Capable of engaging in technical discussions with engineers and decision-makers to tailor solutions that meet client needs. Translate technical features into business benefits.
- Experience with Fleet/ CPO Markets - Experience working with fleet operators/ CPOs to provide technical solutions and support within the energy sectors.
