What You Will Be Doing:
The Junior Sales Development Representative will be responsible for meeting monthly activity, lead generation and pipeline targets. This includes the following:
- Act as the first point of sales /marketing lead qualification:
- Identify and validate decision makers and influencers.
- Maintain and develop leads and maintain activity within Salesforce.
- Pass qualified leads to appropriate segment sales team members.
- Set appointments for Inside and Field sales teams.
- Create and develop new leads for the sales team:
- Drive new lead and opportunity creation leveraging outbound sales plays.
- Uncover and nurture qualified leads over time until prospect is ready for sales engagement.
- Utilize social media platforms and applications to prospect, create and deliver qualified leads to sales team members.
- Create and maintain lead and contact records in salesforce.com; report and track all activities in salesforce CRM.
- Determine viability of leads and validate potential need for AmEx GBT services.
- Pass MQLs and SQLs to appropriate sales team members.
What We're Looking For:
- Fluency in French, English and another European language
- University degree preferred but not required
- Minimum one year of experience in sales, sales support, or lead development role; can be an internship experience
- Prior experience using Salesforce.com or another CRM platform
- Well-developed telephone prospecting skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to write and maintain detailed notes regarding interactions with prospective client contacts.
- Ability to manage multiple task and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to proactively build and maintain a comprehensive network, both internally and externally, to successfully navigate through client organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn, understand, and articulate GBT’s value proposition in a variety of contexts.
- Proficient in SalesForce.com, CRM and Microsoft Office Suites (Word and Excel)
