This position focuses on understanding the hiring needs of the company and its managers to source top talent for open positions. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to make informed hiring decisions and attract candidates who align with the company’s long-term goals. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in recruitment, including screening, interviewing, and implementing effective hiring practices.
Responsibilities:
- Meet hiring needs by focusing on the company’s objectives and assist in developing recruitment strategies to source the right candidates
- Collaborate with internal teams and hiring managers to understand job requirements, team dynamics, and expectations for each role
- Build connections with prospective candidates and effectively promote the company’s values and culture
- Employee effective recruiting strategies to build a database of qualified candidates based on the hiring needs and objectives
- Use various sourcing channels (databases, internal referrals, social and professional networks) to identify and engage with potential candidates
- Build and maintain relationships with both active and passive candidates through effective communication and engagement strategies
- Participate in job fairs and foster relationships with HR professionals, educational institutions, and recruitment partners
- Assist with administrative tasks related to recruitment to track candidate status and maintain accurate records in internal databases and systems
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices by engaging with professional publications and continuous learning opportunities
The ideal candidate should have the following skills and experience:
Qualifications:
- Experience in sourcing candidates; experience in sourcing candidates for software roles is an added advantage
- Experience in prescreening candidates through screening calls
- Experience working with candidates of varying levels of experience and qualifications
- Experience with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Experience with various recruitment techniques and methodologies
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
- Knowledge of industry job boards and their relevance to positions
