About the Role

Role: Junior HRBP- Tanzania

Location; Dar es salaam 

Reporting to; People Operations Manager

Job Summary:
As a Junior HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will oversee daily HR operations in warehouses and field locations, ensuring smooth personnel management, employee experience, and recruitment processes.


Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide HR support to field and warehouse employees, addressing concerns related to leave, compensation, and workplace issues.
  • Manage HRIS processes to ensure accurate data entry and system functionality.
  • Lead recruitment efforts for Field Representatives (FR), Customer Service (CS), Telesales, and Supervisors.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding and coordinate training programs on company culture, labor policies, and compliance.
  • Collect and analyze key HR metrics, such as time-to-hire and employee turnover, to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Oversee disciplinary hearings for field and warehouse teams, ensuring adherence to company policies and labor laws.
  • Handle employee lifecycle processes, including hiring, terminations, and leave management.
  • Maintain and update employee records, covering benefits, employment history, and contract details.
  • Support the HR Manager in preparing employment statements and appointment contracts.
  • Implement and enforce HR policies, including conducting orientation sessions for new hires.
  • Ensure full compliance with Tanzanian labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Respond to employee and candidate inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and hiring procedures, escalating complex cases as needed.
  • Manage payroll for field and outsourced employees, including FR, Fintech staff, delivery agents, warehouse workers, and interns.
  • Assist the HR Manager in handling correspondence related to the Labor Office, Immigration, NSSF, WCF, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Any other duties as assigned time time 


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law (LLB), Business, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in human resource management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Flexible and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and people management skills.
  • Highly organized with strong time management abilities
