Position Overview:
The Jr. Corporate Processing Team Lead is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Jr. Corporate Processing Team, overseeing and delegating loans to the team, communicating loan statuses with onboarding branches and consistently staying abreast of loan processing issues. This position effectively prioritizes and maintains a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the loan as it pertains to junior corporate processing, acting as an expert resource for the CCM team members. The Jr. Corporate Processing Team Lead conducts weekly training with the team members on dedicated topics. If required, the Jr. Corporate Processing Team Lead will assist in production and provide exceptional customer service and file quality. The Jr. Corporate Processing Team Lead also collaborates with other Corporate Processing Team Leads.
Job Responsibilities:

Oversee a Jr. Corporate Processing Team, including employee development, coaching and training.

Serve as the first point of contact for team member PTO requests; effectively assign and re-assign tasks and loans to team members.

Assign and reassign loan files to team as needed based on workload.

Oversee the team’s file quality and turn times of loan files, ensuring they are within company SLA requirements.

Conduct QC Checks of all team member files.

Review team member’s follow up sheets throughout the week for accuracy.

Check milestone stamp dates.

Check reporting for team member turn times.
-
Ensure all Jr. Corporate Loan Processors effectively and efficiently set up and manage pipeline view.

Update and maintain the Jr. Corporate Loan Processor Checklist.

Assist with new hire training.

Assist with Corporate seating requirements.

Respond to e-mails, and phone calls within company SLA requirements.

Communicate with various companies to obtain vendor information including, but not limited to, verification of employment, flood certificate, title commitment, and payoff information. Verify vendor orders are completed and returned, and invoices are received and documented.

Review loans for compliance within RESPA, TILA, HMDA, Reg. B, etc. (all mortgage related regulations). Prepare proper disclosures and redisclosures as required by regulations.

Complete required loan submission checklist if applicable.

Document all communication related to the loan application in the LOS system.

Assist closing, secondary, and servicing to obtain documentation needed to clear outstanding suspense items for loans worked on and/or loans worked on from other transition team members.

Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
-
Minimum of 5 years residential mortgage processing experience required.

Team Lead/management experience, preferred.
-
Knowledge of RESPA guidelines and all mortgage and consumer lending regulations.

Knowledge of Regulation Z and Regulation B requirements, and loan documents preferred.

Knowledge of DU, LP, and GUS.
-
Previous experience with Encompass preferred.

Excellent math and analytical skills.

Excellent communication skills

Skilled at prioritizing and meet deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Windows).
