Position Overview:Join the Finning Canada family, part of the world’s largest Caterpillar dealer. We are looking for a dedicated Partsperson who will be responsible for a variety of parts related duties in the branch. This position is based out of our Edmonton D29 branch. This position is based on a Monday to Friday, 5x2 rotation. If you are a Red Seal Ticketed Parts person, safety conscious team player, self-motivated, and have good organizational skills then you are exactly who we are looking for!
Job Description:
- Process Service job specific parts orders and work with all stakeholders to ensure parts are flowing through the warehouse in a timely fashion
- Service jobs have parts delivered on time and accurately to ensure minimal delay in completion
- Sourcing and ordering external parts form Finning or Caterpillar warehouses
- Processing parts credits at completion of repair
- Provide leadership with reference to on-site safety requirements within the warehouse
- Inspecting cores to determine value
- Communicating with customers and shop personnel
- Coaching apprentices and MSAs on warehouse standards, Lawson operations and parts operation processes
Qualifications
- Journeyperson Partsperson/Warehouseperson certification
- Hold, or be willing to achieve TDG, WHMIS and forklift certification
- Self-starter and a team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Computer literacy with applicable software knowledge along with shop parts experience and First-Aid certification would be assets
- Previous parts, warehouse, and front counter experience would also be considered assets

- Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement.
- Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current collective agreement
- This position is located at our Edmonton D29 Branch based on a Monday-Friday 5 x 2 shift rotation.
