We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement AFRICOM’s mission objectives.
CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, C2 Systems Lead. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US AFRICOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS.
The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users.
Specifically, the C2 Systems Lead will be responsible for provide a variety of IT services including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services. CACI will support the AFRICOM Joint Operations Center in a classified IT operational environment increasing availability and security for a variety of applications and systems. The EPM will oversee and manage all IT Service events and work orders that impact the AFRICOM JOC mission, regardless of the type or service provider. Examples of these duties are 1) reporting system outages to the appropriate service provider and following up with status inquiries until service is restored. 20 reporting and coordinating necessary actions with equipment vendors for warranty, service visits, and/or repair work. 3) tracking, coordinating, and (when designated) acting as the AFRICOM JOC POC for all facility and IT Project actions which directly impacting AFRICOM JOC operations. 4) Provide weekly briefings to AFRICOM JOC leadership on the status of all projects and actions being tracked.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
• Currently hold an adjudicated TS/SCI and be able to maintain
• Professional certification that meets or exceeds DoD 8570.01. IAM II
• CAMP or PMP Certification
• ITIL V3 certificate (Obtainable within 6 months)
• Provide technical leadership and cross-training to peers in areas of expertise
• Act as a resource to team members, participates in team and professional meetings
• Coaches and provides input as to the needs of Infrastructure staff
• BA/BS + 5 years recent specialized or AA/AS +7 years recent specialized or a major cert + 9 years recent specialized or 11 years of recent specialized experience
• Effective communications throughout all levels of operational command
• Experience supporting Command Post of the Future concepts and configurations
• Ability to document system process and architecture
• Experience leading small & large projects with dispersed geographical end-points.
• Acts as a liaison between JOC and all AFRICOM Service Providers.
• Flexible – The environment is highly dynamic. You will be expected to keep up with the changing environment while ensuring a high level of operational effectiveness

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
• ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
• Experience supporting Combatant Commands

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$75,200 - 158,100 USD
