As a Java Software Engineer you will be responsible for;
- Developing and deploying full-stack software systems using AWS that are scalable, reliable, and performant
- Collaborating cross-functionally to develop pioneering applications in a highly exciting and innovative environment
- Owning software applications and systems that enable human and robotic fulfillment at scale
- Making meaningful impacts on fast-moving, next-generation technologies by leading design and development efforts for critical and complex systems spanning multiple software and hardware teams.
- Working backward from customer needs, you will identify the right technologies to achieve high customer experience standards
- Coaching and mentoring other engineers to foster a culture of relentless high-standards and will collaborate cross-functionally to develop pioneering applications in a highly exciting and innovative environment.
Qualifications;
- 2+ years of programming/software engineering experience with Java with a strong emphasis on object-oriented design
- Experience building distributed systems
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems.
- Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, agile development, build processes, testing, and operations
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and test full-stack software in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications;
- Experience developing in Amazon Web Services – AWS
- Experience with mentoring other engineers
- Experience developing cloud software services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance, and reliability
- Self-motivated and able to solve problems independently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong desire to develop skills in Machine Learning and Data Science
Salary Range: 80K-110K
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
