For our location in Sofia, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Java Developer.

In this role, you’ll:

• Develop software according to Amadeus Standards.
• Attend and contribute to development meetings.
• Analyze user needs and define requirements for development.
• Design and write reliable and maintainable code, according to Amadeus quality gates.
• Conduct unit and functional tests.

About the ideal candidate:

Soft Skills:

• Good communication skills.

• Effective organizational skills and attention to detail.

Technical Experience:

• 3+ years of experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.

• Coding skills in Java 8 and above; experience with Java version 11 is beneficial.

• Experience in the development of web-based client-server applications (JavaServer Pages (JSP), Java Servlets, Java Database Connectivity (JDBC), Dynamic HTML (DHTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS2), TypeScript and/or JavaScript).

• Knowledge of Extensible Markup Language (XML) and XML related technologies (Extensible Stylesheet Language (XSL), XML Path Language (XPath), XML Schema Definition (XSD), Document Type Definition (DTD), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), Web Services Description Language (WSDL)).
