Position Summary:
The IT Systems Analyst supports the Senior Manager of IT Infrastructure by researching and implementing innovative technology solutions aligned with Travere’s business goals. This role defines processes, gathers requirements, and drives best practices for effective IT system delivery. The Analyst collaborates with other IT team members and Travere's IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) in a lean, high-efficiency environment focused on rapid results.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with IT Infrastructure and MSP teams to deliver comprehensive IT support, including hardware/software inventory management, documentation, and onsite meeting assistance.

Assist the Senior Manager IT Infrastructure with system integrations, process enhancements, and solution testing.

Oversee new hire onboarding, employee moves, and workspace setups—including laptop configuration and IT onboarding sessions—while partnering with HR on employee lifecycle management.

Implement SSO integrations (Okta and Entra ID) and deploy Windows Autopilot; develop automation workflows to streamline onboarding and offboarding processes.

Coordinate with vendors to evaluate new IT tools and create runbooks or SOPs to support continuous process improvement.

Administer and support fundamental IAM systems with a strong focus on RBAC (security group creation, dynamic rules, and user management), and participate in pentesting, NIST assessments, and onsite change management controls.
Education/Experience Requirements:
-
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered.

Minimum 2+ years’ experience in an IT-related or health science field, with proven expertise in Microsoft Active Directory (Entra ID is a plus) and Azure.

Prefer 3–5 years’ experience supporting Windows 10 Pro/Enterprise, Office 365 E5 (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, OneDrive, SharePoint, Viva Glint, Project, and Visio), Office 365 Exchange/Exchange Server, ActiveSync, and AVD.
Experience with SharePoint Administration is a plus. -
Proficient in hardware/software repair and support, including mobile device support (iPads).

1–2 years’ project management experience and proven ability to design and implement automation workflows using tools such as Power Automate and PowerShell (including creating runbooks and SOPs).

Demonstrated experience in IT New Hire onboarding and partnering with HR for employee lifecycle management.

Working knowledge of SSO and SAML solutions (e.g., Okta, Azure SSO, Microsoft Intune) with familiarity in API integrations, and required expertise in MFA solutions such as Okta Verify, Fast Pass, and Microsoft Authenticator.

Experience with teleconferencing/video conferencing systems (Zoom a plus), VoIP systems (8x8 a plus), TCP/IP networks, VPNs, AVDs, and WiFi; strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience in vendor engagement, including booking meetings to evaluate new IT tools that benefit the organization.

Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and perform computer work in non-traditional workspaces (e.g., under desks or conference tables).

Must be available for face-to-face work with colleagues and onsite in San Diego; no role is expected to be 100% remote.

Compensation: Our competitive compensation package includes a combination of both cash compensation (base pay and short-term incentive) and long-term incentive compensation (company stock), designed to recognize, retain, and reward employees.
Target Base Pay Range:
$90,000.00 - $115,000.00
