Your Role
We are looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. This role involves providing both on-site and remote support to users across the EMEA region. Based at our Lisbon Tagus Park office, you will work with a dynamic team to ensure seamless and efficient operations for all end users. You will also provide support at our Amoreiras office, making a willingness to travel essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve complex desktop issues, including remote support for off-site users.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Macintosh and Windows workstations.
- Perform system upgrades, such as memory installations.
- Collaborate with tier 3 support, Network/System Administrators, and Engineering teams.
- Manage service desk tickets and handle IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) requests.
- Deploy software using Microsoft Intune and JAMF.
- Document and resolve desktop equipment issues.
- Configure and maintain collaboration meeting rooms.
- Quickly troubleshoot and resolve problems with a focus on defect reduction and service quality.
- Work within an Active Directory environment, including Microsoft Intune.
- Experience with desktop virtualization (e.g., Xen) is preferred but not required.
- Foster excellent customer relations and provide outstanding support.
- Thrive in a team-oriented, global, and collaborative environment.
- Be prepared to travel internationally as needed.
What You Bring
- A minimum of 2 years of proven IT Desktop Support experience.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese (additional languages are a plus).
- Proficiency in Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
- Technical expertise in x86/x64 and ARM platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Intune.
