As a Software Engineering Intern of the Business System Engineering team, you will deliver delightful digital experiences to our business teams and our customers. You will learn basic principles of Software Development to build and enhance the applications, integrations and backend systems for our internal business. As a Software engineer, you will develop custom applications, build backend data structures and apis.
The impact you will have:
- Work with the IT Business Systems Engineering team to roll out new data driven capabilities to help business teams such as HR, Finance, Marketing and Sales
- Participate in full Development Lifecycle: design, development, testing, optimization, documentation and operations in production environment
- Build solutions and products with a high degree of reliability, scalability and security
What we look for:
- You will graduate in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026 with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems.
- You are able to complete a summer 2025 Internship (there are no fall or winter opportunities).
- You have implementation skills with programming languages such as Python, Java, Javascript, frontend frameworks such as React or Angular and querying languages such as SQL.
- You have good knowledge of algorithms, data structures and OOP principles; experience with distributed computing and data science is a plus.
- You are excited to solve ambiguous problems with a collaborative team.
- You are excited to solve unique business problems and participate in a collaborative team environment.=
Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
