About the Role
Responsible for administrating IT infrastructure related systems, serving as a local contact window for off-shore technical towers, providing level 2 support to end user daily IT related requirements and issues, lead desktop level automation initiatives

What You Will Do
End User Support
- Responsible for supporting end user of their daily computer usage needs, including computer hardware procurement, OS installation, data encryption, end user data transfer, office application support, WEB based application support, printing, WIFI, VPN, company owned mobile device support including but not limited to MDM agent and email client, Provide VIP support, performing OS Deployment and Patching, Employee training, supervise Hardware fix, and junior IT SLA adherence based on ticketing system, contribute to Knowledge Base documentation pool, potentially introducing automation possibilities via Office 365.
PC inventory management
- Lead and Supervise PC inventory management (Move, Add, Change owner, Delete)
- responsible for data analysis of data gaps (actual vs. record), and provide corrective action
Network Support
- perform initial configuration for network devices
- Troubleshoot end point level network access issues
- Perform WAN data analysis and troubleshooting
- Monitor network bandwidth consumption and provide timely report/alert to offshore network operation team
Server and storage administration
- Perform initial server configuration tasks
- Perform basic server troubleshooting activities together with Wintel team
- Perform daily server room health checking
- Backup support
- Check daily backup report, work with off-shore backup team to address potential backup issues
- Perform data recovery task and periodical audit tasks with off-shore backup team
AntiVirus & Security
- Respond to security incidents, liaising with network operation team to find affected devices and mitigate the risk
Managing public IT service:
- Lead junior IT to perform periodic checks on public IT service end points (WIFI, meeting room, printer), make sure Meeting room/printer/WIFI are in good order
Project management
- Participate global IT infrastructure related projects
- Take lead on local IT infra projects and perform all needed communication efforts
- Make sure to deliver project result on time, on cost, on quality, on communication satisfaction
Programming/Database/Data processing skills
- Programming and database skill is an added advantage
IT demand fullfillment
- Raise PR/PO, follow up with vendor till have received goods, handling invoice and payment
- Work with IT manger on budget planning, execution, tracking, reporting
Auditing and compliance
- Support audit events, be responsible to provide evidence, perform continuous improvement tasks, and keep/organize results for future auditing needs
What You Need
- Required Bachelor degree of Science in Information Systems, or bachelor’s degree of engineering.
- Required ITIL v3 Foundations certified.
- Required CCNA certified.
- Required MCSE certified.
- Required ability to read/write/speak in English.
- Required be able to communicate sharp and clear in Chinese.
- Preferred Experience managing cost center budgeting.
What is Nice to Have
- 7-11 years hands on experience in IT Infrastructure – across server / desktop administration, local and wide area networks, security and backup systems in a Microsoft/UNIX/Cisco/HP SAN Infrastructure. Experience in implementing Windows Server, Exchange Server, Active Directory, SAN, VMWare, WAN/LAN technologies within a large (>10,000 users) environment.
- Be able to trouble shoot computer issues with sound networking knowledge
- Project management certificate is a plus
- Service oriented working attitude towards Harman employee as a customer
- Be strong in following IT regulations and policy
