Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is seeking an IT Project Manager to join their Prime Labels and Packaging IT team!
Your Responsibilities:
- Be accountable to the Project Sponsor for leading the successful delivery of a project according to measures of scope, time, cost & quality requirements
- Provide business and/or technical leadership as needed for successful conduct of the project
- Apply project management principles and techniques to multiple projects. These projects can be large and span multiple IT and business departments.
- Work with Sponsor and management to determine and acquire resources as needed
- Assemble project teams; develop work breakdown structures, project schedules and budget and assign individual and team responsibilities
- Manage team and individual deliverables ensuring they meet the defined timeline and quality
- Work directly with clients and business leaders to identify analytical requirements
- Assist in designing, developing, implementing and maintaining business solutions to meet project needs
- Manage and track assigned projects: including progress tracking, changes to scope, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints
- Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and executives via written documentation and by leading team meetings
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
You Must Have:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2-5 years of IT project management experience
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Office, and Teams/SharePoint
- Strong knowledge of project management methodology, tools and techniques
- Ability to work with highly technical and complex projects
- Familiarity with a variety of technology solutions
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle methodologies and best fit across ERP, web and other projects
We Would Also Prefer:
- Degree in IT/IS, project management, business or engineering
- Project management certification
- Experience as a Business Analyst working with business leaders to identify analytical requirements
- Experience with Agile and Lean processes
- Experience with customer-facing applications
- Experience in the print industry, supply chain, footprint/facilities, technology, or mergers/acquisitions
