We are looking for a motivated university student, IT Project Management Trainee, to join our division Wood Products in Ostrava.
In this role, you will support the team with tasks such as planning, communication, documentation, and ensuring the quality of project deliverables.
As a trainee, you will work 20 hours per week while continuing your studies. In addition to receiving support from your team and senior colleagues, you will also be part of a trainee community in Ostrava, where students support each other, share experiences, and build valuable connections in an international work environment.
As a company, we prioritize your studies and will support you by offering flexible working hours. You can choose when to work between 6:00 - 18:00 CET.
You will be located in our office - Organica building in Ostrava, Czechia.
About the position
Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination: Assist in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants.

Stakeholder Communication: Maintain communication with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.

Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk management plans. Ensure all project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards. Conduct regular quality assurance checks and implement corrective actions as needed.

Learning and Development: Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in project management, IT infrastructure, and applications. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a university degree in IT field

Attention to detail and precision

Proactive approach and great communication skills

Strong interest in project management methods and related tools

Ability to learn and use supporting tools – Visio, MindMap, MS TFS, Leanix, PowerBI etc.

Proficiency in English, at least B2 level

Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
