Scope of Role
We are looking for an accomplished and meticulous IT Procedure Writer to join our team on a contract basis. Reporting to our Global Head of IT, you will be responsible for developing, documenting, and refining IT procedures following ISO27001:2022 standards.
We ask that you have a substantial understanding of information security protocols and excellent technical writing skills to meet project deadlines.
You will be located in our London HQ, on a hybrid work schedule on a 6 month, full-time contract.
As an IT Procedures Writer, you will:
Develop IT Procedures
- Write and document IT procedures that comply with ISO27001 standards.
- Ensure all procedures are clear, and easily understood by IT\end-users.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to gather necessary information and insights.
Review/ Update Existing Procedures
- Conduct in-depth reviews of existing IT procedures to ensure compliance with ISO27001.
- Identify areas for improvement and update procedures accordingly.
- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and reflect current best practices and regulatory requirements.
Ensure Compliance
- Work with the ITRS Security Manager to ensure all IT procedures align with ISO27001:2022 standards.
- Review audit findings and assessments to verify compliance.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in compliance and security measures.
- 3-5 years of experience in technical writing, within IT domain.
- Experience with ISO27001:2022 standards and documentation.
- Experience with information security principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in technical writing and documentation tools.
- Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and compliance standards.
