SUMMARY

The Information Technology Implementation Specialist is responsible for performing the planning, procurement, installation, configuration, deployment, and support of IT related needs for establishing a new agency site. They will also assist the Senior Implementation & Project Manager and IT Department with the coordination of resources, equipment, meetings, and information for Implementation. They work from the project management plan to complete the project on time and within budget. They will perform the IT Infrastructure build and New Hire Orientation activities during Implementations. Complies with all agency policies and legal rules and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related technology field or equivalent industry experience

  • 1-2 years of healthcare industry experience preferred

  • Experience supporting Electronic Medical Record and other healthcare related applications

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, Microsoft or other industry certification(s)

  • 3-5 years of experience delivering Information Technology projects with desirable results

  • Ability to travel up to 33%

  • Strong customer service and documentation skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to recognize audience and tailor communications effectively

  • Experience in presenting project outcomes and expectations

  • Recognizes issues, problems, or opportunities in processes and skill sets. Identifies the need for and collects information to better understand issues, problems, and opportunities.

  • Detail oriented with ability to oversee and prioritize multiple responsibilities while working efficiently to deliver results

  • Ability to work individually and collaboratively as a team member

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, vendors, and customers

  • Understands, adheres to, and effectively communicates company polices and procedure

  • Expertise in performing routine maintenance on laptop and desktop hardware

  • Proficiency installing and administrating a Microsoft workstation environment

  • Experience administrating Microsoft Active Directory Users and Computers

  • Experience administrating Microsoft Exchange Online Mailboxes/Users

  • Proficient in installing and configuring workstation and server applications

  • Experience administrating and deploying Mobile Devices via Mobile Device Management

  • Demonstrates success creating and deploying process automation (BASH, PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, JSON, etc.)

  • Must be able to adapt and champion change

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Support Senior Project Manager: Collaborate closely with the Senior Project Manager, assisting in various tasks as required

  • Perform IT Implementation tasks on location and remotely during Joint Venture (JV) Implementations

  • Transition project from implementation into the run model for ongoing support

  • Communicate agency and stakeholder updates, outcomes, and competencies

  • Liaison between Project Management and project stakeholders

  • Support the training team during implementations and new hire orientation on site 

  • Support ASHN departments as liaison between Joint Venture (JV) and ASHN

  • Ensure adherence to project methodology compliance standards set by the Company

  • Attends in-service trainings and mandatory Company meetings

  • Adheres to all Company Policies and Procedures and follows Employee Handbook Guidelines

  • Actively promote the values, mission, and culture of the Company

  • Maintain a professional appearance as a representative of the Company

  • Other reasonable duties assigned by manager
