Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Business Analyst. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a global company and will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This role involves analyzing business processes, spotting opportunities for improvement, and managing projects from inception to completion to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis:
- Analyze business processes and systems thoroughly and gather detailed requirements through various methods such as interviews and workshops.
- Develop comprehensive functional specifications and process models, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
- Collaborate to prioritize these requirements and build a strategic roadmap.
Project Management:
- Lead project planning sessions, develop comprehensive project plans, and manage project scope, timeline, and budget.
- Coordinate multi-functional teams, monitor project progress, and handle any arising issues.
- Preparation and presentation of project status updates to collaborators, customers, partners, and team members, while leading all aspects of a portfolio of projects.
- Support business access requirements, manage budgets across portfolios, build cost estimates, and ensure smooth employee onboarding.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure gate documentation requirements are fulfilled, offer support for critical issues, and keep connections within IT for detailed service delivery.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key business partners
- Facilitate meetings and discussions to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Act as the liaison between business units and IT to ensure mutual understanding and collaboration.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including requirements, plans, and status reports.
- Develop and deliver training materials and user documentation as needed.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant fields (e.g., Business Administration, Computer Science)..
- 7+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
- Managing large-scale IT projects.
- Proficient in IT infrastructure, software development process, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with multiple ERPs (e.g., JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle), finance systems, and middleware applications. Worked as an integration lead integrating third-party solutions with ERP systems.
- Knowledge of Order to Cash, Record to Report, customer service, financial reporting processes. Support O2C, R2R, 3rd party integrations (e.g., CFORIA, Blackline).
- Excellence communication (verbal and written), negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to navigate sophisticated technology environments and work with global teams.
Working Conditions:
- Works remotely or in office depending on location. Domestic and international travel required, 0 - 25% or more than needed.
