The Shopping Consultancy Team focuses on providing expert integration consulting services. This department is dedicated to enhancing the travel shopping experience through advanced technology solutions, ensuring seamless system integration and service delivery tailored to the travel market's needs. In this dynamic role, you'll empower some of the world's largest travel agencies and travel industry IT players, leveraging your top-notch consultancy skills to integrate Amadeus systems and deliver unparalleled travel shopping experiences.

In this role you’ll:

Role Overview:

You will play a critical role in supporting our sales organization, providing expert advice and consultancy to our customers, and ensuring seamless integration of Amadeus systems. Your contributions will directly impact on our business and help foster strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Sales Support:
    • Autonomously support the sales team by performing demos and analyzing customer business flows.
    • Propose tailored integration solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Customer Consulting:
    • Provide expert advice on integration activities between Amadeus and customer systems.
    • Offer functional support and resolve problems within integration projects.
    • Ensure the submission of Statement of Requirements (SOR) or Change Proposals (CPR) to Product Management.
    • Coach Integration Consulting Specialists, especially in complex cases.
  • Post-Integration Support:
    • Ensure high-level product adoption by assisting customers with daily activities.
    • Identify, prioritize, and address critical issues, problems, and root causes.
    • Present complex analysis results during client meetings.
    • Identify potential upsell opportunities for consulting and optimization missions.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Propose and follow up on internal process improvements.
    • Recommend and implement tools/techniques for process automation.
  • Service Design (Occasional):
    • Contribute to the creation of User Stories and review product specifications.
    • Validate serviceability deliveries and maintain comprehensive documentation.
    • Build, store, and track services documentation, including implementation guides and how-tos.
    • Provide regular status updates to ensure global coverage and foster synergies within the Construction Domain.

About the ideal candidate:
 

We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional to provide consultancy on our Low Fare Search portfolio. As an ideal candidate, you will bring a blend of technical expertise, industry knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: University degree (4 to 5 years) or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a related field, with a focus on technical consulting, integration, and support.

Key Skills and Abilities:

  • Technical and Functional Skills:
    • Knowledge of Amadeus products and system architecture is highly desirable.
    • Proficiency in network and protocols knowledge.
    • Familiarity with the travel industry and Air shopping products is a plus.
    • Experience in cross-functional processes and the development cycle.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Communication: Excellent written and spoken English, with strong presentation skills in a high-tech environment.
    • Multicultural Approach: Proven ability to work effectively in a multicultural work environment.
    • Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation with good customer contact skills.
