The Inside Sales Representative is primarily responsible for customer relationships and commercial transactionsThe ISR employs a dynamic blend of communication skills, empathy, and sales acumen engaging with customers via phone, email, or online platformsThey possess a deep understanding of the products, guiding potential and existing customers through inquiries, concerns, and commercial transactions. Beyond simply facilitating transactions, they forge lasting relationships by actively listening to customer needs, offering tailored solutions, and ensuring satisfaction. Their role extends beyond sales; they act as problem solvers, brand ambassadors, and often, the voice of the customer within the organization. 

 

Essential Duties:  

 

  • Engage with customers via phone, email, or online platforms to address inquiries, provide product information, and assist with purchases. 

  • Actively listen to customer needs and preferences, offering personalized recommendations and solutions to enhance their buying experience. 

  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of our products/services, including features, benefits, and pricing, to effectively educate customers and drive sales. 

  • Process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and fulfillment, employing 80/20 principles and adhering to red and green rules. 

  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, striving to achieve a swift and satisfactory resolution. 

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and inquiries. 

  • Collaborate closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and shipping, to address customer needs and optimize the overall customer experience.

Education and Experience Preferred: 

  • High School Diploma/GED required.  

  • Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, or a related field preferred. 

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to actively listen and empathize with customers. 

  • Proven sales acumen and the ability to effectively promote products/services and close sales opportunities. 

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving customer issues. 

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant technology tools is a plus. 

  • A positive attitude, enthusiasm for helping others, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service. 

  • Travel as needed to see key customers. 

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to work long hours in a sedentary position working at a computer and performing repetitive motions. 

  • Ability to move objects and materials of at least 25lbs 

  • Ability to collaborate with operations in a manufacturing environment.  

  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE when onsite.  

  • Frequent Domestic and International Travel
