The role
You will be responsible for driving research sales, managing a high-volume sales pipeline, and working with prospects from initial qualification through to securing meetings and building strong, long-term relationships. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow and develop alongside a rapidly expanding company. We are seeking someone who is highly driven, has a passion for sales, and maintains a customer-centric approach, eager to contribute to a fast-paced, mission-oriented team. Responsibilities:
- Maintain high-volume lead generation and sales objectives, ensuring a steady flow of qualified opportunities, consistently meeting or exceeding monthly sales quotas.
- Research and identify cold accounts to prospect, fueling the sales pipeline in North America.
- Deliver product demos and value propositions effectively to prospects, using Modo Energy’s platform.
- Stay self-motivated and manage time effectively in a high-volume, results-driven environment.
- Continuously improve your sales skills, striving for advancement in the Inside Sales role.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient sales processes and a customer-first mentality.
- Progress in the Inside Sales role by building the necessary skills and knowledge to transition into an Account Executive position over time.
Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of inside sales experience, preferably in SaaS or US Power markets.
- Proven track record of new account development and hitting sales targets.
- Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM software is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to craft personalized outreach and engage prospects effectively.
- High energy, self-starter mentality, with strong organizational and planning skills.
- Highly motivated with a consistent history of exceeding lead generation and sales goals.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with potential customers.
- A passion for sales and desire to grow within the role, with the goal of progressing into an Account Executive position.
Important Details:
- For New York Applicants, the salary range for this position is 60k - 75k per year.
- We work in a Hybrid Environment: You split your time between working from home and working in our New York City office (Tuesday - Thursday).
- 25 days annual leave and your birthday off; medical, dental and vision benefits; 401k with optional matching contribution.
