Team Overview:

Our Customer Success and Sales teams are a dynamic and collaborative group committed to driving growth in the fintech space. We operate globally with teams based in 11 countries ensuring we provide seamless coverage and support for our global client base. Our Inside Sales team works closely with regional Sales teams including Marketing and Customer Success teams to ensure a strategic approval to driving revenue. As part of a fast-paced environment, the team thrives on innovation, continuous learning, and celebrating individual and collective success.

Role Overview:

As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, contributing directly to IPC’s growth and success. Your primary focus will be generating leads, engaging with existing and potential clients, driving conversations through strategic data-driven activities and closing deals. You will play a critical role in achieving the company’s revenue targets by carrying a sales quota while also collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to provide insights into overall sales strategies and effectiveness.

This role is based in New York City working in the Eastern Time Zone. This role is required in the office a minimum of 3 days a week with flexibility to align with other team members. You will primarily engage with clients in North America but will need to accommodate meetings and collaborations across the broader global team as needed.

How You Will Make an Impact

You will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying, nurturing, and closing new business opportunities. You will be responsible for building relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and promoting our innovative services and solutions.

  • Identify and target prospective clients in the financial services industry through research, lead generation, and networking to build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads including inbound and outbound outreach activities
  • Conduct discovery calls, product demonstrations and presentations to existing and potential clients, articulating the value of our products and solutions
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas and performance metrics including quota attainment, lead qualification resulting in meaningful connects such as booked meetings and demos, pipeline development, and contribution to regional team growth and overall sales performance 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and provide insights into lead nurturing strategies and campaign development to optimize sales opportunities
  • Actively listen to client feedback and requirements, addressing concerns, and proposing tailored solutions to meet their needs 
  • Regularly engage with the Customer Success team to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact through the sales process 
  • Maintain meticulous records of sales activities, client interactions and deal progress within our CRM and Sales Engagement platform, providing accurate activity and pipeline reporting

Essential Skills and Experience to be Successful in this Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field (preferred)
  • Proven track record of success in inside sales or similar role, preferable within the fintech or SaaS industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with clients effectively
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a persuasive and results-oriented approach
  • Solid understanding of financial services and financial technology products
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales productivity tools
  • Highly self-motivated and target-driven, with a passion for exceeding sales goals
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment and adapt to evolving market conditions
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments .

Additional Information:

We spend around 60% of our time in the office and around 40% of our time working remotely. Some employees may be required to work from the office or client sites more than 60% of the time, if required by their role and/or client needs.
