As an Innovation Solution Architect, you will be at the forefront of our company’s innovation efforts, responsible for identifying and implementing solutions that address complex business challenges. Key responsibilities include:
- Fostering Innovation: Drive the development and implementation of new ideas, projects, and technologies that lead to business growth. Participate in pilot projects, proof of concepts (PoCs), and innovative use cases.
- Technology Leadership: Analyze and select advanced technologies such as IoT, robotics, AI/ML, and data analytics. Collaborate with startups, research centers, and universities to integrate these into practical solutions.
- Strategic Innovation: Contribute to the long-term innovation strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals. You will translate technological capabilities into business opportunities, enhancing revenue and value creation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., IT, marketing) and external stakeholders (e.g., ecosystem partners) to drive innovation and manage change. This includes leading change management efforts and overcoming resistance to new systems and processes.
- Ecosystem Engagement: Evaluate and select partners from the innovation ecosystem based on technological merit, and connect projects to the company's real business needs. Promote a culture of innovation by organizing workshops, hackathons, and other creative initiatives.
- Cloud and Data Solutions: Architect and design cloud-based solutions (Compute Engine, Kubernetes) and develop conceptual and physical data models. Ensure data quality, governance, and cybersecurity across all platforms.
Your experience, skill set and qualifications are going to help you succeed in this position, moving forward. We would like you to have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science). Desirable: An MBA or a relevant advanced degree would be a plus.
- Prior experience in an innovation-driven role within technology companies or startups.
- Hands-on experience with R&D projects and familiarity with international environments.
- Deep knowledge of cutting-edge technologies: machine learning, AI, data analytics, IoT, cloud solutions, and smart city ecosystems (e.g., FIWARE).
- Practical experience designing robust cloud architectures, cloud automation (CI/CD), and implementing privacy and cybersecurity solutions.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, and familiarity with scripting, database technologies, and API integrations.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to view the bigger picture and connect different aspects of innovation to achieve business goals.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Creative approach to solving complex challenges, with an emphasis on delivering tangible business results.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide teams and influence stakeholders.
- Data Analysis: Expertise in data collection, analysis, and governance, with a strong understanding of how to leverage data for business insights.
