At Concept Reply we are hiring Industry 4.0 Engineer to join our team. In this role your primary responsibilities are to engineer and build solutions for Industry 4.0 and IIoT clients in Manufacturing. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, proactive, eager to learn and contribute and have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities
- Design and engineer “Digital Factory Systems” (HMI, MES, and SCADA) built around the Ignition platform using SQL, Python, JavaScript, and other languages and technologies
- Create Solutions in other technologies, including but not limited to: Databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.), Custom applications (C#, .NET, etc.) or MQTT Brokers (HiveMQ, Chariot, etc.)
- Design and engineer solutions with cloud technologies, including but not limited to: Snowflake Data Cloud, AWS or Azure
- Develop and configure interfaces with third-party software tools such as OPC servers
- Provide detailed documentation to clients on system design and programming
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s in electrical, mechanical, chemical, or related engineering field or relevant experience
- Inductive Automation – Ignition Gold Certification (expired is acceptable)
- Experience on Connected Factory projects, in specific - solutions for Industry 4.0
- Demonstrate excellent ability to build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with customers at multiple levels, including those external to the organization
- Experience developing in higher-level programming languages such as C#/.NET, SQL, Python, JavaScript, or others
- Experience in IIoT architectures involving Hybrid Cloud, MQTT, and device orchestration
- Experience working databases and database design, writing medium to complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
- Ability to understand PLC logic and programming
