IFP Finance Business Analysis Lead
Job Description
Position Summary
Reporting to CFO Asia IFP, you will be managing a team of two and play a critical role in supporting the management team in their decision making across various aspects of the business in financial and performance analysis and financial reporting. You will also be business partnering with the commercial and operation teams on all commercial requests and present to them business plans, budget & forecast along with insights and explanations for variances.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the senior finance leader in Taiwan & HK - one of the key strategic markets for IFP and partner with the Taiwan & HK MD and serve on their leadership team.
- This individual will also be a key deputy of the Asia CFO and serve on their leadership team.
- They will manage a direct team of two but be fully accountable for all fiduciary responsibilities for the Market (accounting and control and tax and treasury matters) WITHOUT those resources directly reporting into them as in the IFP organization structure.
- Be jointly responsible for developing and delivering the business strategy, financial and business priorities for the business including all forecasting and explaining variances from actuals.
- Work with the SC organisation and the local Sales and Marketing to manage sales cost and portfolio to optimise growth, margin, profit, and cash.
- Own and accountable for the budgeting, quarterly forecasting and SBP process.
- Prepare solid financial variances analysis and commentary on sales data (product/channel), pricing, trade spend, margin analysis, to track performance against budget/forecasts.
- Optimize key data and analysis to add value to operational costs.
- Participate in business strategy discussion and provide insights and alert risky areas to management with solid financial rationale behind.
- Other ad-hoc projects as needed.
Educational Qualification, Work experience
- Educational qualifications: Numerate and Analytical, preferably with a relevant finance qualification and master/bachelor’s degree.
- Work experience: Experience of 5-8 years’ operating in similar commercial operating environment preferred.
- Language: Chinese/ English

- Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Experienced in using accounting software (SAP, Aurora, BI) would be advantageous.
- Experienced in implementing new finance system would be advantageous
