What You’ll Be doing:
- Evaluate power plant control systems for cybersecurity needs, develop project cybersecurity strategies, and manage the lifecycle of platforms and systems to ensure reliability and security.
- Maintain power plant control system network and asset documentation, configuration history, standardization and modernization information for all generating assets
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity frameworks, conduct assessments, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Perform periodic assessments of cybersecurity at the plants and assist to further the maturity model of the program
- Administer and maintain critical systems, provide cybersecurity and engineering support, and facilitate integration of security measures into plant operations.
What You’ll Need:
- Engineering and Cybersecurity experience in the power industry working on instrumentation and controls systems.
- Possess working knowledge of computer hardware/software including the Microsoft Office family of products.
- Experience supporting cybersecurity for distributed control systems manufactured by ABB, Emerson Process, GE and Siemens-Westinghouse is preferred.
- Possess an excellent aptitude for computer operation, networking and communications.
- Excellent organizational, communications, interpersonal, and supervisory skills are required.
- Possess the desire to research/learn new technologies almost on a daily basis for the purpose of system support.
- Project management experience preferred.
