I2C Manager - Cambridge, Hybrid
The Job
As the I2C Manager you will build, manage and drive a high performing I2C function across the Cambridge Shared Service Centre. Providing standardised service delivery for the countries in scope of the SSC, ensuring high quality deliverables resulting in strong customer service.
You will have ownership and delivery of the plan to continuously improve and evolve the Shared Services.
Responsibilities
Projects and Strategy

The main focal point of the I2C function for managing finance transition projects and continuous improvement projects which impact the I2C function. Management of the projects includes but not limited to planning, resourcing, knowledge transfer, readiness assessment and issue resolution.

Collaborate with the Process Ownership team and SSC counterparts to ensure alignment of SSC processes with global processes and best practice.
Service Delivery

Conduct regular reviews of internal controls, risk, and control matrices (RACM) in conjunction with Internal audits.

Review policies and ensure adherence including identification of areas for improvement. Implement corrective actions and enhancements based on control reviews and audit findings.

Manage escalations to address and resolve issues related to the I2C function

Manage the closure of disputed debts, collaborating with finance and business teams to resolve the issues and collect the cash.

Identify the root cause of the disputes using the appropriate channels to ensure that action owners are identified to reduce future issues around debt collection.

Lead, monitor and improve the performance and efficiency of the I2C function using the Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and associated reports.

Maintain the service catalogue for the I2C function. Identify the gaps in services with an action plan to address. Ensure that the catalogue is consistently operated with no regional nuances.

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations, ensuring alignment to the functional and organisational goals.

To manage the I2C team for all entities and countries that are in scope.
People Management

Lead the overall target setting for the I2C team and set clear objectives, aligning them with functional and organisational goals.

Manage Direct Reports and their teams, monitoring performance, providing feedback, addressing capability issues.

Ensure career development and training is in place across the team with clear succession plans and resource rotations to facilitate the team growth.

Ensure full team is recruited with cross training to minimise gaps in service delivery.

Overall responsibility for recruitment, training and management of a team to maximise the SSC I2C team full potential.

Skills & Qualifications
Ideal skills

Proven experience (at least 3 years) in a similar role within a finance shared service centre

Experience of leading and managing a team including team development and career management
-
In-depth knowledge of I2C processes, including controls and compliance requirements

Proven track record of using KPI’s to improve performance
-
Able to operate comfortably at a detailed as well as a strategic level.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in utilising ERP systems and other I2C related software
