General Description:

The Human Resources Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for organizing and coordinating recruitment activities and onboarding for firmwide positions within business services and legal support departments. This position reports to the Human Resources Recruiting Senior Manager and collaborates closely with other recruiting team members. Under the manager’s direction, this role interacts directly with department management, office leadership, and attorneys to schedule staff interviews at all experience levels. This is a dynamic position that requires a high level of engagement and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:

  • Job Posting: Create and post job vacancies on various platforms such as job boards and firm external and interview websites.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Actively source and identify potential candidates through resume databases, networking, referrals, and other channels.
  • Screening and Selection: Screen resumes, conduct initial candidate assessments, coordinate interviews with hiring managers, and conduct reference checks.
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and interviewers, ensuring a smooth and timely process.
  • Candidate and Hiring Manager Communication: Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedback as needed.
  • Onboarding Support: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation schedules, IT equipment, and new hire training coordination.
  • Applicant Tracking: Maintain and update the Workday to keep candidate information organized and up-to-date.
  • Recruitment Events: Organize and attend job fairs, campus recruitment events, and other recruiting activities.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate recruitment reports in Excel and Workday, analyze recruitment metrics, and provide insights to improve recruitment processes.
  • Travel: Coordinate and arrange candidate travel, including airline and hotel reservations.
  • Search Firms: Coordinate and manage third-party recruiter contracts and activity.
  • Special projects and duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidentiality, diplomacy, and responsiveness.

Required Qualifications & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar or corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of database management software.

Preferred Qualifications & Education:

  • 2+ years of law firm recruiting experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Moderate or advanced keyboard usage.
