Trustmark is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Human Resources Intern to join our HR team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both Talent Management and Talent Acquisition/Recruiting. This is an excellent opportunity for a rising senior to gain experience in Human Resources departments focusing on Talent.
Works closely with HR professionals on various projects and initiatives aimed at attracting, developing, and retaining top talent within the organization.
Key Accountabilities:

Assist the TA team with posting job openings on various platforms, sourcing candidates through online channels (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards), and screening resumes.

Help update employment brand through social media.
-
Participate in phone screenings and potentially assist with in-person interviews.
-
Assist in the development and implementation of employee development programs and initiatives.
-
Train on Workday to help update learning records and other talent-related information.
-
Help coordinate employee engagement surveys and analyze results to identify areas for improvement.
-
Contribute to the development of internal communication materials related to HR programs and initiatives.
-
Assist with the planning and execution of employee recognition programs and events.
-
Assist with the creation of reports and presentations related to key talent metrics.
-
Other Human Resources tasks as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
-
Currently pursuing a degree in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Human Resources, Business, or related.

Completed third or junior year of degreed program.

GPA of at least 3.0.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Detail-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.

The compensation range for this role is the following based on the location of Lake Forest, Illinois:
$18.89 - $27.29 per hour
