Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and innovative HR Artificial Intelligence / Data Scientist Intern who is currently in their Junior or Senior year of college. This internship provides a unique opportunity to apply AI and data science principles to human resources challenges. You will collaborate with our HR Analytics team to develop AI-driven solutions that enhance employee experience, optimize HR processes, and deliver data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:

AI Tool Implementation: Assist in implementing and optimizing AI tools such as Claude for Enterprise or ChatGPT for various HR functions. Develop and refine prompts to enhance efficiency and accuracy of AI-generated content for HR communications, policies, and documentation.

Data Analysis & Visualization: Collect, clean, and analyze large HR datasets from various sources. Create compelling visualizations and dashboards that communicate insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Compensation Analytics: Support the analysis of compensation data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities. Assist in developing data models to ensure fair and competitive compensation practices across the organization.

Total Compensation Statements: Design and develop user-friendly total compensation statements utilizing AI and data visualization tools. Enhance the employee experience by creating personalized, easy-to-understand compensation communications.

Process Automation: Identify opportunities to automate routine HR processes using AI and machine learning techniques. Develop and test solutions that increase efficiency and reduce manual workload for HR professionals.

HR Metrics & Reporting: Support the development and maintenance of HR metrics and KPIs. Create regular reports that track organizational health, talent acquisition effectiveness, retention, and other critical people metrics.

Research & Innovation: Stay current on emerging AI technologies and best practices in HR analytics. Research and propose innovative applications of AI and data science to solve complex HR challenges.
Minimum Qualifications:

Currently a Junior or Senior in College (pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Analytics, or related field).

Demonstrated experience using AI tools such as Claude for Enterprise or ChatGPT, including prompt engineering and optimization.

Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, etc).

Experience working with large datasets and ability to derive meaningful insights from complex information.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Commitment to data privacy and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge of HR processes, metrics, and best practices.

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Familiarity with HR software systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors).

Coursework or projects in machine learning, natural language processing, or predictive analytics.

Advanced statistical knowledge and experience applying statistical methods to real-world problems.

Understanding of ethical considerations in AI and data science, particularly as they relate to HR applications.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $21 - $27. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee's total compensation package.
