The Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Intern to support our Human Resources department in various culture and operational functions. The ideal candidate will assist in onboarding, employee engagement events, communications, and compliance, ensuring smooth HR operations and excellent employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Help coordinate training programs and track employee progress.
  • Manage company Intranet including creating new pages and updating content.
  • Assist in drafting the company newsletter.
  • Support with filing and organizing HR documents, both digital and physical.
  • Update job descriptions and assist in maintaining HR templates and forms.
  • Coordinate onboarding processes, including paperwork, background checks, and coordinating resources.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives including planning events and managing swag inventory.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
  • Lead process improvement initiatives with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to employees and the Trackonomy management team.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 0-2 years of HR experience (internships or related work experience a plus).
  • Knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.


The pay rate for this role is $30 per hour and the position will be part-time, for approximately 20-hours per week at our San Jose, CA headquarters. This role is set to begin in February 2025.
