We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our dynamic team! In this position, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of engagement within the organization by acting as a strategic partner to business leaders; aligning HR practices with the company vision, values, and goals; providing support and guidance on employee relations, performance management, policy implementation and interpretation. Ultimately, empowering employees to contribute to their roles and feel valued within the organization.

WHAT HELIOS NEEDS FROM YOU:

  • Facilitate new hire orientations to introduce new employees to the company, their team, responsibilities, and the workplace.
  • Partner with business leaders to effectively execute HR policies and practices that will support the strategic growth of the business.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify workforce challenges, performance issues, and align HR policies with people-related strategy and execution.
  • Work in partnership with the HR team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results
  • Proactively provide data-driven insights that are timely, informative, and provide new perspectives for teamwork, engagement, and employee satisfaction.
  • Oversee HR metrics, analyze data to identify trends, and provide continuous feedback from employee surveys to influence decision making and increase retention.
  • Conduct thorough and well-timed investigations to resolve employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances adhering to relevant employment laws and company policies, protecting confidentiality, taking steps to prevent retaliation, documenting all aspects of the investigation to support findings and decision-making.
  • Support talent acquisition, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on a variety of HR-related matters, such as benefits, leave of absence, and performance management.
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT SETS YOU APART:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field required, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an HRBP or Sr. HR Generalist role
  • Acute HR knowledge about key business issues, the skill to apply that knowledge, and the confidence to take action informed by past experiences and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent, mediation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proven foundation and knowledge of HR principles and practice including employment law and compliance requirements
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to prioritize time, tasks, and work independently
  • Ability to make recommendations to effectively overcome obstacles
  • Proven acuity in ADP, MS office suite, and data-base management
  • PHR certification preferred

Physical demands of the HRBP role include:

  • Sitting for long periods of time – majority of the work is completed at a desk
  • Standing and walking – attending meetings and interacting with employees
  • Hand dexterity – using a computer keyboard, writing, and handling paperwork
  • Visual acuity – reading documents, computer screens, presenting information
  • Hearing – ability to hear and understand speech or other sounds clearly
  • Speaking – expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken word to impart oral information to employees

Helios' compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The total pay for this position ranges from $80,000 annually in our lowest geographic market up to $100,000 annually in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Helios compensation may also include annual bonus, commissions, equity, sign-on payments, as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
