Job Description

This position will focus on Employee Relations and administrative responsibility for FMLA, ADA, STD and LTD. Key team member driving HR Department success aligned with the Nautique Identity Pyramid Values.

Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be detail-oriented, organized and experience in ADP or equivalent HRIS. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

The hours for this position are 8AM - 5PM Monday - Friday, and this individual will work onsite at one of our locations in East Orlando. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations, investigations and disciplinary action and fostering strong supervisor-employee relationships.
  • Handling FMLA/ADA/STD/LTD/Work Compensation, and auditing attendance.
  • Supports the HR functions with new hire onboarding, terminations, benefits administration and benefits open enrollment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with supervisors, managers and employees.
  • Works cooperatively with managers, the HR team, vendors, and others to resolve employee questions and issues
  • Data analysis and reporting via HRIS as needed
  • Organizing wellness programs, employee events, philanthropy efforts and creating monthly newsletter.
  • Maintains a general understanding of required compliance with legal, regulatory, and financial requirements governing functional tasks and activities 

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
  • Strong HR experience (minimum of 3 years), particularly with compliance and systems like ADP or other equivariant HRIS
  • Knowledge of FMLA and ADA compliance.
  • General understanding of required compliance with legal, regulatory, and financial requirements governing functional tasks and activities
  • Strong quantitative, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to make sound judgement and take the initiative to prioritize, meet deadlines, keep others informed on work progress and adapts easily to change
  • Must be able to maintain highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management.
