Job Description

Miratech is looking for a HRIS Technical Solution Architect on a full-time or part-time remote basis for a short engagement (3 months full-time or 3-6 months part-time) for a US-based client. Working hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm US Eastern Time.

The client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and their transformation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience integrating various HR systems and their components, including hiring, benefits, payroll, compensation, login, and termination. Additionally, the candidate should have a proven track record in documenting the current, intermediate, and target states using BPMN 2.0 standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of the current, intermediate, and target states of HRIS systems using BPMN 2.0 standards from both business and technical architecture perspectives.
  • Lead the transformation of HRIS systems, ensuring seamless integration with various HR components, such as hiring, benefits, payroll, compensation, login, and termination.
  • Design and implement integration solutions that maintain data consistency and integrity across all platforms.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the HRIS transformation team, ensuring best practices and high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including HR, IT, and business units, to understand requirements, identify gaps, and develop effective solutions.
  • Analyze the current technical landscape to provide guidance on improving efficiencies and processes through integrations, including complex reporting.
  • Utilize BPM tools and software (e.g., iGrafx, Sparx, Alfresco Activiti) to model and document processes.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in HRIS systems and integration, implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in HRIS systems transformation and integration.
  • Proven track record in integrating various HR systems and their components (hiring, benefits, payroll, compensation, login, termination).
  • Experience in documenting using BPMN 2.0 standards.
  • Previous experience as an HR Solution Architect or Integration Lead.
  • Strong knowledge of core HR functions and HRIS concepts, particularly Oracle HCM Fusion (is a plus).
  • In-depth understanding of BPMN 2.0 notation and best practices.
  • Experience with OAuth and Single Sign-On (SSO) for secure authentication and authorization.
  • Familiarity with SAML-based integration with enterprise applications and cloud providers.
  • Excellent coordination skills for collaborating with offshore leads and developers.
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance requirements in HR systems.
  • Expertise in system architecture and design using tools like Draw.io and Visio.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Certifications:

  • Relevant certifications in HRIS, BPMN, TOGAF or related fields are a plus.
