WORK HOURS: Full time exempt
PAY RATE: USD $60,000 base salary not bonus eligible
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: ~10%
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
The HRIS Analyst will join a high performing team and serve as vital contributor of the HRIS organization. As a main point of contact to key HR stakeholders and Centers of Excellence, the HRIS Analyst will support in the design, evolution and management of Workday. This role will be integral in promoting automation, data integrity, system efficiencies and more. The HRIS Analyst will participate in key programs and annual activities including, but not limited to, system upgrades, annual releases, patches, projects, troubleshooting, testing, and other duties as needed/assigned. The HRIS Analyst is expected to be a strong collaborator and business partner within and outside of HR and show a high level of accountability, customer service, and innovative thinking.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Employee Support through Workday Help: Provide Tier 2 support through the management of Workday Help cases, helping address and/or escalate open questions and configuration requests such as system errors, EIB requests, security updates, login difficulties, access issues, data errors, etc. in a timely manner
- Drive System Adoption: Drive the expansion of employee and manager self-service by working with HR COE’s to expand their Workday Help knowledge article/job aid resources
- Release Management: Lead release management activities including review of ongoing updates and new features available in Workday, managing release backlog activities, and execute on Workday’s two primary annual releases
- Data Management and Audit Support: Help maintain data integrity by proactively running audit reports, and interfacing with key stakeholders to keep system cleansed
- HRIS Team Evolution: Assist with the creation of process documents including but not limited to security role matrices, establishment of cadenced audit processes and subsequent data cleanup, etc.
- Program/Project Support: Partner with HR Stakeholders to deliver in Workday HCM system related projects, including system releases/upgrades, enhancement packages, new functionalities and process redesign
- HRIS Partnership: Assist Sr. HR Analysts in any project/program related requests including but not limited to data support, invoice management, end of year support, security management, reporting, analysis, and other duties as needed
- Workday Configuration: Partner with internal and external customers to elicit requirements, design, build, test, and deploy configuration changes, reports or dashboards across assigned Workday modules (Active modules include Absence, Benefits, Core HCM, Compensation, Help, Learning, Peakon, Payroll, Recruiting, Talent Management, or Time Tracking)
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Customer First: Ability to work effectively with business partners across HR and in other parts of the organization, including IT, Finance, etc.
- Proficient in Tech/Data Analysis: Familiarity with HRIS software and systems along with ability to analyze data and metrics to identify trends and provide insights.
- Transformation Mindset: Anticipate needs and proactively support projects, project risks/issues and implement effective mitigation plans
- HR Experience: Strong understanding of HR, HR Systems, Integrations and Payroll processes and data
- Authentic Communicator: Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Collaborative and Inclusive: Ability to build strong working relationships and work effectively across diverse teams
- Innovative and Creative: Deep passion for learning and continuous improvement
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, IT, or relevant field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources in an HRIS or Shared Services environment
- 1-2+ years of direct Workday experience preferred (Experience in configuring or supporting any of these Workday modules: Absence, Benefits, Core HCM, Compensation, Help, Learning, Peakon, Payroll, Recruiting, Talent Management, or Time Tracking)
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and change and manage complexity in a dynamic environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This job operates in a professional office environment. Largely a sedentary role with some filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. The ability to sit or stand for long periods through meetings and while operating office equipment, PC’s, laptop, telephone will be required.
